FaceFlow Community Guidelines
the plain-English version
Community Guidelines
Nobody on FaceFlow knows who they are about to meet. These guidelines exist so that the first ten seconds feel friendly instead of tense, for you and for whoever you are matched with.
Updated October 6, 2026
01 Behaviour that makes a good match
- A hello before anything else. Small talk is underrated.
- Your actual face, in decent light, if you are on video.
- Moving on politely. Tapping next is fine; insulting someone first is not.
- Curiosity about where people are from and what their day looks like.
02 What we remove
- Nudity or sexual behaviour of any kind.
- Anyone who looks under 18.
- Slurs, hate, threats and targeted harassment.
- Scams, sales pitches, links and requests for money or gift cards.
- Recording someone without asking, or threatening to post a recording.
- Pointing the camera at the ceiling, a screen or a pre-recorded video to waste people's time.
03 Reporting
You will find a report button on every chat screen. Choose the reason that fits, add a line of detail if you can, and end the chat. Reports are private; the other person is never told who reported them.
04 Once a report is in
A moderator looks at the report and the evidence attached to it. Outcomes range from a caution to a short restriction to closing the account for good. Reports involving minors are escalated straight away.
05 Think a decision was wrong?
Email [email protected] with your user ID and a short explanation. A different moderator reviews appeals.
